Actor's Audition Workshop

Are you an actor looking to improve your audition skills?

In this workshop, you'll acquire tips and tricks to help you stand out in auditions and land the roles you want. As experienced instructors, we will guide you through a variety of audition scenarios and provide personalized feedback to help you improve your craft.

HOW IS IT SET UP?​

Week 1 (7th): industry chats, deep dive into auditions, scene work

Week 2 (virtual): assigned self-tape to record and send to us

Week 3 (virtual): review and feedback of tapes via video recording

Week 4 (28th & 29th): improve your technique and gain confidence with your choices

We will be assigning scenes for the whole month, unless you choose to bring a scene to us that you'd like to work on. We are very flexible and want you all to learn in a safe and productive way.

ABOUT OUR COACHES

Alex and Maxine have been in the industry for quite a while now. They are both working actors. That is the motto of their workshop: "for actors, by actors." You will learn in a hands-on and engaging way by people who are still living and breathing the industry and who have been teaching audition-focused training for over 5 years. The bigger question is what won't you learn!? From mastering your environment to enhancing your confidence and to all the cold-read, eye-line, prop and breakdown things in between we will discuss and practice it all. This is a place of learning and collaboration and a great way to meet like-minded creatives!
